Build A Sales Career That Actually Goes Somewhere
Most remote SDR jobs are a dead end. You book calls for someone else, you never see what happens next, and two years later you are still booking calls.
This one is the first rung of a ladder that ends in the closing seat. The path is SDR, then Senior SDR, then Account Executive. The Account Executive seat is the one the founder currently sits in, and the plan is to hand it over to someone who came up through this role.
That is the actual offer. Not "join our team." A route to closing deals, if you are good enough to take it.
Why This Beats The Usual Remote SDR Job
You get the next seat before an outsider does. When Senior SDR or Account Executive opens, we look inside first. You are not competing with a stranger's CV for the job you have been doing groundwork for.
You work next to the person who makes decisions. No team lead, no manager relaying feedback. You talk to Logan directly, which means you find out what is working this week, not next quarter.
You sell something people already know they need. Business owners have noticed they are invisible outside Google. You are not inventing a problem or defending a weak product on the phone.
You are judged on output, not hours logged. Nobody is watching your mouse move. Two things have to happen daily. Beyond that, how you run your day is your business.
You find out if you like it before you commit. The trial is paid and it is real work. If it turns out not to suit you, you have lost a few days and been paid for them.
About the Role
As our Sales Development Representative, your job is to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executive team.
Here’s what that actually means day-to-day:
Your main activities:
- Making outbound calls to business owners and marketing decision-makers (15-20+ calls per hour during active calling time)
- Driving prospects to one of two revenue-driving solutions:
- For smaller businesses: Directing prospects to our Startup program (and receive commissions for deals sold here)
- For larger businesses: Booking a call with prospects to speak to our account executives
- Sending personalized emails and LinkedIn messages to prospects
- Following up by phone on your cold and warm outreach — catching prospects who replied, opened, or went quiet, and moving the interested ones toward a booked call
- Researching prospects to understand their business and personalize your approach
- Qualifying leads based on budget, need, timeline, and decision-making authority
- Booking meetings for our sales team with prospects who are genuinely interested, and fit our ideal client profiles
- Keeping accurate records in our CRM system
Your success is measured by:
- Number of qualified meetings booked per month (target: 8-12+)
- Quality of appointments (prospects who show up and meet qualification criteria)
- Driving an 80% show rate on initial sales calls (by engaging prospects)
- Daily activity levels (calls made, emails sent, LinkedIn touches)
- CRM Hygiene: Maintain clean and accurate information with consistent follow ups
Tools you’ll work with:
- Our GoHighLevel CRM
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospect research
- Phone and email for outreach
- Sales engagement tools for tracking and automation
This is an outbound prospecting role. You won’t be closing deals — you’re opening doors and setting up our closers for success.
Required Experience & Skills
B2B sales experience: You’ve done cold calling and appointment setting before. You have a track record of hitting activity and booking targets. If you’re brand new to sales, this isn’t the right role.
Excellent English communication: Native or near-native fluency — you can have natural, professional conversations with North American business owners without language barriers.
Multi-channel prospecting: You’re comfortable using phone, email, and LinkedIn to reach prospects. You know how to personalize outreach and don’t just blast the same message to everyone.
CRM proficiency: You’ve used GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems to track prospects and manage your pipeline.
Self-management: You can work independently in a remote environment, stay productive without supervision, and manage your own schedule.
Coachable: You take feedback well, implement suggestions, and continuously work to improve your approach.
Availability: You can work core US business hours, with reliable availability 9am to 3pm US Central, to align with our North American client base. In your timezone that is roughly 10pm to 4am in Manila, 7:30pm to 1:30am in India, or 10am to 4pm in Buenos Aires. It shifts about an hour with US daylight saving, so check it against your own clock before you apply — this is a night shift in much of Asia, and we would rather you know that now.
Preferred Background
- Experience selling to marketing decision-makers or CMOs
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS or marketing services
- Experience with sales engagement platforms (Outreach.io, Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, etc.)
- Background in content marketing or digital marketing
What You Can Earn
A modest base and uncapped incentives. The base keeps the lights on while you ramp. The incentives are where this role is actually priced, and there is no ceiling on them.
How you are paid: monthly via Wise, in USD, wherever you are in the world. No chasing invoices, no wondering how the money reaches you.
How the incentives work. You earn a commission on the first month of revenue from every client that came from your work. Hit your quota of 10 qualified calls in a month and that commission rate steps up — and it applies to every deal that month, not just the ones after you hit the number.
Then there is the residual, which most SDR roles do not offer at all. You keep earning on the ongoing revenue from every client you sourced, every month they stay. It compounds quietly in the background, and within a few months at target it is worth more on its own than a lot of SDR base salaries. It also means you are rewarded for bringing in clients who fit, not just clients who sign.
Said plainly: if you book nothing, this is a $500 job and you will not enjoy it. Hit target consistently and the incentives become the large majority of your income — typically $2,000 or more a month on top of base, with no cap on a strong month. This role is priced for people who back themselves.
Remote contract role, priced for candidates outside the US. If you need a US-market salary this is not the right fit, and we would rather you know now than three interviews in. Full commission and residual rates are covered in your interview.
The Process
Four steps. You hear from us at every one, including if the answer is no.
1. Apply below. Includes a two to three minute video. Applications without a video are not reviewed — this is a talking job, so we need to hear you talk.
2. Skills assessment. About 45 minutes, scored the same way for everyone. It expires in 72 hours, so watch your inbox.
3. A 45-minute conversation with Logan. Your real numbers, a short role-play so you can see how we actually talk to prospects, and straight answers to anything you want to ask.
4. Paid trial. Real work, paid, before either side commits.
Apply
About ten minutes, plus the video. Be specific rather than impressive — real numbers and plain answers get further here than polish.
